The Park is located just a short 3 minute drive to town on the Herberton side ( so only 15min drive to Herberton) which we loved visiting and happened upon the Jacaranda Festival at this time of the year ( Mid Oct). The Park had a lovely heated swimming pool - not too hot, but great for the cooler mornings and nights in the mountains- it is open 7am till 9pm. The bunk beds were very comfortable for our young boys and lots of room in the main area of the cabin to move around. We loved our stay here and will be back.
The only aspect that we struggled with in the cabin was the lack of bench space for cooking or putting/ storing bags for the kids. There is only the wardrobe in the main room. We like to mostly cook all our own meals and there was only a very small fry pan for the cook top. Watch out you don't steam up the room as the smoke detectors are very sensitive ( whoops).

Good location, reasonably priced, great pool and kids playground.
Bathroom did not have sufficient drainage leaving water all over the floor with nowhere to go. Mop that was in the cottage was dirty so was unable to clean up water. Would have been nice to have a clean broom and mop to be able to keep the cottage clean especially since we stayed 4 nights.
