It's a convenient location right next to but set back from a main road, and there's decent choice of food at the service station next door (where you check-in).
The three of us had individual triangular-shaped rooms in a hexagonal out-building. To be frank it's pretty basic and down-market and not good value compared to other places we stayed whilst touring Norway. It was ok for one night, but I wouldn't stay there again at that price.

The room was surprisingly large and comfortable. Also it was quiet despite location on main E6 and overlooking service station forecourt. Breakfast was great, if not fancy.
illustration of the location was a traditional grass roofed guest house. This was next door to the Shell service station and our room was actually above the service station. There was no signage to indicate where Reception was - turned out to be at a hidden desk beyond the normal eating area and shop

clean and nice room. elderly Norwegian lady at the breakfast was the kindest and sweetest to introduce Norwegian brown cheese and other local advice

It was great that the cafe in the motel was open until 22:00. There are vegetarian and meat burgers, hot dogs, pizza buffet and bottled beer. The room was clean and spacious. There is a TV and electric kettle in the room and hair dryer in the bathroom. There was a balcony in the room with a view on the road, but we didn't hear any noise
The breakfast was good, but more vegetarian options and fruits would be nice to have.
