What a great find. We’ve stayed at many Ibis budget hotels over the years driving to and from Portugal but this one was way above our expectations. Staff were lovely, enjoyed a really nice mew at a reasonable price with plenty of options (huge improvement on the reheated pizzas served in other ibis budget hotels). The lounge and dining areas felt pleasant and welcoming. Beds were comfortable and the new room layout with slightly larger bathroom is a huge improvement on the older ibis budget design. Didn’t have time for breakfast but it looked good. Nice outdoor seating area and the adjacent aparthotel even has a gym. Great value and will stay here again without a doubt.
It’s not a dislike but just a suggestion: I would offer a coffee and croissant option in the morning for those who don’t have time for a leisurely breakfast.

Smelly room. Some highway noise. Lack of late night/early morning eating options in vicinity.
