The host messaged me before I left the UK so I knew he would meet me with the keys at reception. I felt really looked after before I got to the apartment and I flew out there with the knowledge that there would be no stress getting into the apartment.
I liked all of it! The location was just fantastic. As a solo traveller I felt really safe with all the security locks. There are really great places to eat and drink nearby.

Clean and comfortable apartment. Straight forward check-in as we arrived after office hours. Perfect location with walking distance to chania old town and port. Katerina was very helpful with everything and also suggested a free parking area.

We received a very good welcome and were given helpful advice on where to eat. Location was good - easy to get to the harbour and restaurants. Easy free parking close by. Living area and bedrooms were spacious. The free bottles of water were gratefully received. The hustle and bustle from the Saturday market was good to see. There was a corner shop in close proximity.
The online photos made the apartment look very up-to-date and clean. However, many of the kitchen units and bedroom units had seen better days; the dining table had a damaged area; the bathroom needed a complete refurb, was mouldy and not clean enough. The shower curtain needed a good scrub. Bathroom quite unpleasant overall. The living area floor was dirty in places. The living room balcony was tiny and had lots of water from the a/c unit; the unit also made the balcony even warmer than we would have expected. That said, we would consider using Forum City Apartments again for the convenience.
