The breakfast was quite good, there was fresh orange juice, plenty of fresh crusty bread, home made jam, coffee. Sebastien did try to be friendly.

There was no one there to greet me and Karene was not at all amicable, boarding on rude. Apparently she has a stressful job. Shame, she shouldn't be running a B/B if she can't cope. The room was under the roof and there was no insulation whatsoever. The heat was abysmal and, although, after I complained, they provided a fan, it didn't make a lot of difference. Also it was quite noisy. It was impossible to keep the bathroom door open to create a bit of air circulation throughout the night because the VMC system was so noisy! I slept about 2 h (especially since I had to put the alarm on in order to be on time for breakfast...(Ah, I forgot to say that that I had to tell Sebastien the night before the exact time I wanted breakfast, like 8.30 sharp, not between such and such a time. When you're on holiday, the last thing you want is to be under pressure for whatever reason. The reason being that they provided freshly made pancakes. Quite frankly I would have preferred to do without the pancakes and the pressure. The welcome book was everything but welcoming: it provided the doctor's, hospital's, police's phone numbers and a few leaflets thrown anyhow in the plastic pages. A plant in the bathroom looked very sad and like it had seen better days. Shall I go on?

Lovely place and great pizza made by the owner.

Sebastian was very charming and made us a superb pizza despite not normally offering dinner. It was a great place to stay.

We were delayed by a cancelled ferry and arrived a day and a half late at 3am. Despite that, the room was ready for us and was breathtakingly beautiful. At breakfast we were greeted by a charming lady who served us the most amazing breakfast. I have saved this place in my satnav and my heart. Thank you xx
