Great location in the middle of a national park/beach. Dinner and breakfast buffets were awesome, even the picky eater in the group found something.

BEAUTIFUL location. hiking in the area around the hotel is serene. The dinner and breakfast buffets were both exceptional, and the staff was very friendly. The view from the room is the best I have ever had in a hotel.
Getting from the train station to the hotel can be a little complicated. Taxi is easy but if you're trying to avoid that, the city bus works but can be hard to figure out where best to get off.
The wifi was very slow and cell phone reception unreliable for me.

Excellent service. Pay a little more to get the ocean view rooms as the view is priceless! Shuttle service very helpful.

The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The views are pretty good but I have stayed in a lot of places that had great views with better accommodations.
The rooms did not meet expectations and the listing photos seem to be from when they were need. There was scuffs, marking, and scrapes all over a very worn and dated room. There was some some type of vent in the wall that was very moldy (see photo) and one of the ceiling boards was coming down. The hallway carpet outside the rooms was filthy with dirt and debris like it hadn't been vacuumed in weeks. Breakfast was a bit chaotic due to the multiple table buffet layout and the food was just average. Would not stay here again and its definitely overpriced, not recommended.
