Beautiful house, lovely family. A little tricky to get to but really comfortable beds.
Rooms were a little warm with no air con.

The view from the balcony is wonderful, the room is spacious and the host is warm and welcoming with lots of recommendations. We could borrow their scooter for a small fee whilst stayed. The price is very good for the warm hostility I received. I would happily stay again.
Change polyester sheets for cotton ones and have darker curtains.

Tucked away from the bustle of the main road and approached through a few winding roads, Mount Haven offers a truly peaceful hilltop retreat. And the moment you arrive and meet the warm hosts -
Dr. Nimal and his lovely wife - you instantly know you’ve found a special place.
The views from the property are absolutely breathtaking, especially if you opt for the balcony room, which allows you to soak in the landscape right from your doorstep.
The caretaker, who also doubles up as the chef, is extremely helpful and attentive. Breakfast here is prepared with genuine care and warmth, adding to the homely charm of the stay.
The rooms are comfortable, and thanks to the elevated location, the surroundings remain pleasantly cool. The terrace is a wonderful spot for bird lovers, with plenty of bird activity in the mornings.

The host Dr Nimal and his lovely wife were really welcoming and nice people, many stories and travels to tell about and a lot of advice about the area and sri lanka. They made laundry for us with same day delivery which was helpful.
Unfortunately I booked the room with balcony and view, this was the reason to go so far from town. But due to booking misunderstanding only the road room without balcony nore view was available so this was disappointing. The bathroom is a bit moldy.
