The hosts of the hotel, the Family Wessel, are a very friendly and humorous couple. I came to Cologne on a business trip and had a very pleasant six-night stay at Haus Wessel. The hotel’s location is very convenient both for transportation and dining.
For me, it was truly a rare and wonderful experience.

The hosts and owners were outstanding, Wonderful welcome with pastries and coffee, also spoke good English. It had limited parking but that was close by and good. Enjoyed evening meal. The hosts also made us sandwiches for our journey home.
It is a small guest house and quite quaint, old world, but room had small kitchenette couch and table as well as small shower/bathroom.
It is close to tramway so access into Cologne would be good and was close to motorway so worked for us well
It's not so much a did not like it's just very quaint and a little cluttered

Das Ehepaar Wessel sind Vermieter mit Leib und Seele. Sie kümmern sich um Ihre Gäste in einer liebevollen Art , die sehr herzlich ist. Das Zimmer, die Sauberkeit und Fürsorgedurch das Ehepaar Wessel sucht ihres Gleichen.Ich war viel unterwegs - national und international - und ich habe nie besser gewohnt. TOP EMPFEHLUNG -- Danke sehr.
