The house itself is on a beautiful piece of property and the view of the river is stunning. The house is built in the early 1900 and has beautiful bones. it appears to have received extensive remodeling in the early 2000’s. Overall, a beautiful home with very eclectic decor. Some ways we would suggest improving the listing would be to deep clean the house inside and out. the kitchen drawers were sticky and kitchen was not user friendly. The refrigerator was dirty and there were cob webs and dust in places. Dishwasher was not unloaded when we arrived. You can tell the owner made an effort to think of the small things to make the home welcome, such as k-cups, mini toothbrushes, etc. Overall we enjoyed our stay and the view on a sunny day cannot be beat.

I rented the property with 11 friends (all in our 30s) for a long week-end and had an amazing time. The house and property are even more beautiful than in the pictures. The house is very well furnished, very cozy and spacious (and the two dish washers are life changing for a big group!). We took great advantage of the pool, both hot tubs, and the outdoor grill, all functioning perfectly. Jean was very easy to reach and quick to write back if you we had any questions, both before and during our stay (and went out of her way to help us connect our Spotify to the Sonos sound system). I highly recommend this property and hope the back soon!Florence
