The property had everything you needed, and was close to the old town and railway station.
Unfortunately the apartment is on a noisy thoroughfare, but we had been made aware of it, and she had even provided ear plugs.

Breakfast was pretty bad due to COVID. Mostly pre-packaged goods. Juice in refrigerator. Donuts on arrival.
The location was excellent, but be prepared, it is NOT accessible by taxi. Air conditioners in both rooms were good. Easy access to Duomo and San'Matteo. Some nice coffee places nearby. You can walk to almost all interesting sites from here. 14 minutes to the train station walking. Host was nice to met us as we walked to the apartment.
This is a MINIMALLY equipped apartment. No sharp knives. No wine opener (in Italy?). Don't plan on cooking. There is very little to work with. Minimal towels. Shower has a very slippery tile floor. When we complained after nearly falling, the host said we could go buy a shower mat if we wished. There is no door handle on the inside. Makes it difficult to open. Bedroom is really a loft upstairs which means you must go down the stairs and through the kitchen to get to the bathroom. WiFi was terrible. Very slow. Could not upload my videos. Bed was typically Italian cheap and uncomfortable. In August there were so many tourists in Lecce that I had to get up at 3:45 AM to tell people outside the apartment to please go somewhere else to talk. The photos make the place look much bigger than it really is. The most aggravating thing was the water supply. It just QUIT in the middle of a shower, more than once. I think it has something to do with the minimal instant hot water tank. The host suggested that the whole city ran out of water, but I find that incredible.
