Eleni (our host) was soooooo wonderful with her clear and helpful communications, the warmest of welcomes (extremely generous with her time and hospitality) and her fabulous recommendations. She shared excellent local knowledge - Stavros Beach was gorgeous, car parking was nearby and convenient and cafes/restaurants eg The Botanists (right next door) for scrumptious breakfast and relaxing afternoon drinks and nibbles + Tamam was especially delicious for dinner (we went 2/3 nights). Book so you don’t miss out. The apartment is really quality accommodation with so many special, unexpected and beautiful touches in addition to the really tasteful décor. Everything that Eleni & her husband have done in the preparation and maintenance of the apartment shows their commitment to offering a very high standard. Location is perfect for wandering and enjoying the old city. Extremely grateful for our magical time in Chania at Casa al Bocca del Porto THANK YOU ELENI 🤩🤩
Nothing to dislike! Could definitely have stayed longer. 3 nights were not enough.

Close to everything you might be looking for in Chania
Characterful old building but modernised and looking very clean and pristine
Patio on top floor which acts as a great hangout space
Excellent beds and nice shower, facilities were excellent

Fantastic location, central between the beach and the main town centre. Plenty of cafes, restaurants and bars on the street - The Botanist on the corner was an exceptional spot to stop in at all times of the day & their staff were fantastic.
Parking can be difficult if you are travelling with a car. There are 4 hour parking areas directly out the front but they can’t be extended. We found a paid parking facility called Parking Apollon at Grigoriou E 9 731 35 Chania Greece which is a short walk through town which was very convenient.

Lovely little apartment in the middle of the old town of Chania. Great location with everything we needed for our stay. Eleni was extremely generous and helped us the morning after we arrived with any information wanted about Crete and her recommendations. Would definitely come back again if we make it back to Chania.
