Sue was an excellent hostess, rapidly dealt with one small problem. The cottage was immaculate and contained all we wished. The ABSENCE of WiFi was a bonus. (Free at the pub in Litton 2 miles away with community general store). Bed was very comfortable and Sue had provided the essentials of tea/coffee/milk/sugar and biscuits to settle in. First time I've stayed in a one bed cottage with TWO bathrooms! Also exceptional to find a dishwasher and washing machine although we did not use them for our one week stay. Lovely and quiet with our only neighbours being a farm. Walks to Litton and Cressbrook straight from the front door and plenty more within a 5 - 10 mile drive.
I really can think of very little. I don't think Sue mentioned that there was a DVD player which would have been useful

The Barn was excellent, warm and very clean.
With absolutely no phone signal, a WIFI connection would benefit this property a lot.

Nice kitchen and bathrooms. Kitchen is well supplied. Everything was clean.
We enjoyed watching the dairy cows and calves, and the general farm activity.
The description did not mention that heat is supplied only a few hours each day. We learned this upon our arrival when reading the instruction manual. We found this unacceptable. People have different requirements for heat, and this should be up to the guest. Additionally, the location is not accurately described prior to booking - we expected it to be close to Buxton, but it is a 25 minute drive from there on narrow, winding roads, the last of them being single lane. Lastly, we were aware of no WiFi, but expected to have good cell service. The cell service was sporadic and marginal.
