A fantastic cottage in an excellent location for exploring Yorkshire. It was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and exceptionally well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We especially appreciated the peaceful setting and the beautiful, well maintained front gardens, which were a pleasure to look out on each day. We visited York, Castle Howard, Eden Camp, Fountains Abbey, Bempton Cliffs and the Yorkshire coast, and the cottage was the perfect base for exploring the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

Keys were in the door when we arrived.
We did not meet the hosts but that wasn't an issue. We knew where they were and from previous comments in the guest book, understood that they could deal with any problems we had.
As it happened, we had NO PROBLEMS!
The accommodation was unbeatable.
A great pub just up into the village was the icing on the cake!
Even if we were "Four In a Bed" contestants (which we are not!) it would be hard to find something to complain about.
