We left and booked somewhere else to stay as it made us feeling abit uncomfortable and gross (haunted like )

Adequate for a short stay.

Breakfast was poor with no utensils to eat cereal with. Kitchen poorly equipped.

For 100 dollars per night I felt it was quite expensive Tv in quest lounge not working. Lots of noise from window below room 6 probably from restaurant below with fans blowing.

We did not bother with breakfast. We just wanted to leave.

Thanks for your hospitality and friendliness.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Kitchen was OK.

I did not have high expectations due to the nature of the property but in this instance it served its purpose. Stayed in a backpackers in Wanaka for the same price and the facilities were much newer and better experience all round.

was fine but can you leave clearer instructions on where to go if you arrive late didn’t revive anything via email. was

I liked that it was in walking distance to shops. room was big and bed was comfy feels private to wich is nice

really cold in the room. we arrived late and had to go out for a few hours and come back once room was warm had heater on 24/7 the whole two days we stayed. the heater wasn’t very good. didn’t put out a lot of heat and took ages to warm up room might need to clean off the mold in ceiling in bathroom. but that might just be because I’m fussy as I used to work for a fancy holiday park. Thankyou for having us.

Could have been a great place but management appears not to care.

Sink with hot water in the room. Electric blanket and heater plus spare pillow and blanket. Good hot roomy showers. Clean linen and soap supplied. Clean bathroom and toilet. Separate entrance to hotel side

Carpet was just DISGUSTING with toe nail clippings, leaf litter near sink; brown stain near door (old dog mess? - I was going to upload the photo but who needs to see that). This is the only place ever that I would not put my bare feet down onto the carpet and I used a towel next to the bed. Room 5 window gets the compressor noise kicking in every 20 mins. Bed very soft but ok. Kitchen - no dinner plates, but lots of side plates; 5 forks; 3 mugs. Unable to work out if milk/stuff in fridge for general use so never used the cereal. TV room - TV remote not working (so couldn't switch on) and reported but nothing done before I left. No toilet paper in toilet opposite my room (there is another down past the kitchen) - reported late afternoon and told would be topped up, but not resupplied until next day Pub serves no meals (it says it does snacks) which was a shame

One night in Alexandra

Very comfy bed, room was very run down and needs some TLC

Front door digital lock wasnt working. Paint peeling off in the bathroom. The chap that was behind the bar was very nice. It was only an overnight stay so it was ok. Would i stay there again.....probably not.

It was Easter Good Friday, no one around , had to ask where on earth the manager was, there was virtually nobody there.

Good bed, Good Shower, Good enough for me!

Its cheap and cheerful right in the middle of town. Easy parking. It's more hostel than hotel but that's reflected in the price

I have stayed 3x and in 3 different rooms and this time around was probably the lesser standard of the three.

couldn’t stay there, had to find another property

nothing, we couldn’t bring ourselves to actually stay there

everything. the room was tiny and felt grubby with someone’s black hairs on the sheets. wallpaper was falling off the wall & bathroom very old.

cracks in the roof with large spider. wall paper peeling off. years of dead bugs in lamp, filthy walls. was su[[psed to stay 2 nights and left after one.

not value for money

very old , dirty ,smelly and creepy , water pump are not strong , a lot insert when night .not a good experience in this stay , when we stay in we found a eaten chips in the drawer and we have a problem which the room , this is the first time we stay in accommodation without a room key , but the staff is good they are try to solve the problem with us . but I hope it can be improve to a normal standard stay .if not really not worth for money .

Stay only if you are desperate!!

There wasn't much to like, other than fresh towels placed on the floor outside your room door each day 🤦🏻‍♀️

The room looked like it hadn't had a good spring clean in a very long time. Peeling wallpaper, dirt & bugs in the light fixtures above the bed. The toilet could only be flush once in a half hour period. Ripped curtains, no air conditioning, the white or should I say off-white stained bedspread was disgusting. We ripped it off the bed straight away and put it on the floor, not to touch it again. Cobwebs and bugs all over the walls in the room and bathroom, where we found an old toothbrush on the basin ( I guess it was left from the last person) mould on the wall and ceiling above the shower. You didn't feel clean even after having an shower. We would not recommend this place to anyone.

Bad customer service

They do not provide any information or leave a person to attend to the customers that arrive after check-in hours as it was notified during the booking. I couldn't stay at the hotel, and I had to look for another place that night.

Old and little bit overpriced

My bedroom didn't have a lock. It wasn't working at all and i couldn't shut my door when i was away. I wasn't even offered an alternative. Very disappointed. My shower has no pressure on the hot water too.

Faulty Towers

Location

No key , had to leave door open when went out . No shower towels . Spider webs on ceiling . Shabby interior. Noisey drippy shower. Light shade on toilet floor . Would not recommend .
