We didn’t have a chance to try the restaurant because of the COCID restrictions.

Do not stay here unless you are Dutch or German, see the Hotel's response!
Breakfast was excellent as well as the dinner we have booked. Location is great, in the center but very quiet and peaceful. Beds are great, the whole room is very big and clean, with coffee and tea and everything you need for a comfortable stay. One of the staff members was super nice during the whole stay and we were allowed to checked in early.
I have never given a bad review to any hotel, but here I must. At the reception, staff member that runs the hotel made a comment on my Slavic last name. Then, in Dutch, thinking I do not understand, he commented how I live in the Netherlands but do not speak Dutch. The whole stay he only spoke to my Dutch partner, I was invisible. I find that to be racist and was very disturbed by the whole behavior, as if I am worth less because I am not Dutch or German. Hotel guests were Dutch or German mostly. I will never visit this hotel again, which is a shame because the hotel itself is great. I recommend that staff member to leave the island sometimes and meet people who are different but are still people and should be treated with respect. Answer to the hotels response: this proves my point, it was obviously my fault that I was not treated with respect!

A jewel in Netherlands
First of all, i wanna recommend Texel as travel destination to everyone...amazing island. And second, if you decide to follow my advice and go to the island, you must choose this magnificent precious hotel. Few rooms, treated in details, big double room with a really bright bathroom, so clean, so cozy and chic, so perfect. The breakfast is amazing, for every taste. And the staff? So kind and lovely. We’ve loved everything about it.

It is really noisy if you need to keep windows open in the summer. Can’t fall asleep due to all the traffic. The rest are good.
