Friendly staff, good breakfast
I stayed at the hotel 6 weeks ago. This time, it was a construction site with a few rooms next door that were cold & there was almost no lobby to stay after check-out.

The location couldn't be better—right downtown in the city center among shops, restaurants and cafes. The service is great; very welcoming and kind.
I think the room amenities and the room itself could use some improvement for a 4-star rating. The bathroom itself is roomy with a double sink, and the toilet separated by a door, is excellent, but the shower in the bathtub does not feel 4-star. The room does not provide extra pillows to choose your preferred thickness/firmness, no extra blankets in case you run cold at night, and no tea; only coffee. No bathrobes or slippers either. The room decor feels very impersonal and has a 'cold' feeling, not making for a warm and fuzzy environment.

Convenient location
The room was in a separate building from the hotel restaurant and spa, so a long walk to breakfast. The walkway is locked at night making it difficult to get into the hotel ~ an extra block long walk.
The furniture in the room is a joke - one small chair and a narrow bench with two small cushions. The table is a small desk so not really useful.
The bed was okay but lumpy pillows.
