Position is good as staff very helpful
The modern wing has very small rooms. Last time we stayed in the old block which had much more character and a larger room.

Modern comforts in an old building, wonderful renovation. Beautiful building and grounds.Comfortable rooms and beds! Very quiet area away from the village. You need a car to drive to the center.
I would skip the restaurant on site next time, so plan your meals accordingly. Expensive for average quality. Nothing for vegetarians.

near to sarlat
v nice swimming pool
room was dark and rather dinghy
we had dinner twice on a 7 night stay but menu was unchanging so did not have more. chose to explore instead.
breakfast was expensive.
staff were friendly on the whole. the weather was not good for part of our stay and there was no where to go in the hotel other than the room.
some of the grounds were tended but others were not
