The host was exceptionally kind (especially for German standards) and waited for everybody coming off the ferry (from Helsinki) even though it was past closing time of the reception already. Breakfast was surprisingly good, with delicious home-made jams.
It was an extremely hot night, and there was no air conditioning. We had trouble staying cool during the night. Also the fan in the bathroom sounded like a broken motorcycle.

Die Zimmer waren ordentlich und sauber. Das Frühstücksbuffet war ansprechend und ausreichend. Der Empfang war sehr nett und die Umbuchung, bzw. die Empfehlungen dazu sehr hilfreich und einfach.

Simple accommodation. Perfect location for travellers arriving in Travemuende Skandinavienkai by Finnlines from Helsinki in the evening.
The hotel had forgotten to turn on the room heating before I arrived.
