Hotel was beautiful right on the water, clean rooms and great staff

Angolo prezioso

Zona tranquilla e silenziosa anche se due passi dal centro. Vista spaziale dalla finestra della camera..senti lo sciabordio delle onde..colazione ok..cena buona ma disorganizzati..richiedono mille volte le stesse cose e non le portano..anche 45 minuti fra le due pietanza in convenzione..davvero da rivedere perché la terrazza ristorante molto bella!! Cena con musica..molto apprezzata.. Ottima e veloce la pulizia delle stanze

Tempi d attesa al ristorante la sera.. A volte fatica a parcheggiare Zona spiaggia decisamente da ristrutturare

Very enjoyable except for breakfast system and wifi

All was good

only two things spoilt it from being a great experience and this is why we have given a poor rating to facilities and good ratings to everything else. 1. The breakfast system is TERRIBLE - it actually ruins a great experience. Worst system we have ever experienced in the world. 2. The wifi would not allow us to make a what's app voice call which made things difficult for us

Fantastic place to stay on the ocean.

The hotel is in a beautiful location on the ocean in a picturesque town. Our room was comfortable with all the amenities we needed and the staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast that was included in our booking was exceptional.

Experience a Mediterranean vacation in a style you can't find anymore.

The hotel is very well managed. The staff were very helpful in meeting our needs. The location is fantastic, the scenery beautiful.

great stay for 6 days , Porto Santo Stefano is a terrific small town in a idyllic location

location is excellent and a 100 metre walk to village and restaurants and bars. on the water and great views from rooms

Fantastic views in Santo Stevano

The view was fantastic from the room and from the terrace where dinner was served. There are two room sizes. We had a double superior room that had plenty of room on the 2nd floor with the lovely sounds of waves at night. Ac and Wi-Fi worked great and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom was upgraded and the shower was great. Some older reviews mentioned smells but they had some problems in the town that had been corrected and we did not experience any smells. Breakfast was good with a number of options. We did not use the beach area but it was set up well and was a great opportunity to jump in the sea steps from your beach chair.

Dinner was great for the first meal but for the second meal we did not ask enough questions and were disappointed since the menus were only in Italian. The waiters and owner speak good English and are happy to help if you ask. We were concerned because the Booking.com rating was lower than places where we normally stay but we were pleasantly surprised and is the reason for my long review.

I actually enjoyed my stay very much. I learned to deal with the inconvenience of the small bathroom

Staff very friendly, location the best. Walking distance to the port with easy access to bars and restaurants. Great view of the sea from all the rooms. Beach was OK given the nature of the location although maybe a bit better maintenance would make it better.

My biggest disappointment was the room. It was one of 2 smallest rooms and using with physical keys. All the other rooms had electronic leys. The door was a sliding door, providing very little security. The entrance was difficult as it angles passed the entrance door. The bathroom was very small and the shower also very small.

We would return but book well in advance to secure a better room.

The location was excellent and the breakfast was amazing. We ate dinner there one night which also was terrific. The staff was helpful

The rooms were exceedingly small. It may have been a function of when we reserved but you could barely move in the room and there was little counter space in the bath.

Exceptional

The rooms were clean and fresh with the blue/ white color scheme. Right on the water we loved that we were so close to the lapping waves. Great breakfast and very helpful staff. Close, easy walking distance to the restaurants for dinner was a bonus and parking right out front very helpful. A great hotel highly recommended, we would return to the same hotel next time.

The shower was very, very small. Pillows we're typically Italian pillows - hard!

Loved it - staff, property and atmosphere

It was being done up a bit so I hope the property will be refreshed (there’s a charming vintage feel to it which I liked but the outside could do with a refresh). lovely spot, would visit again.

Spontanious stay

We had a very nice sea-view.

The toilet couldn’t flush without opening the rusty cistern and manually pulling the plug. The entry of the room was stinky and wouldn’t go away even if we opened the window for multiple hours.

The location is amazing. Room with the sound of the sea whispering through the windows.

The communal areas in particular the reception had visual dirt on the floors and seated areas. This hotel Is old school Italian charm. Which can’t account for everything. Including the room price.
