Good central location near to the train station. Receptionist friendly and helped us with heavy suitcases.
There are notices that state that the place is due to be renovated and it's clear that the place needs it, overall the communal areas are scruffy.
WiFi didn't work but at least the receptionist made us aware.

The hotel is central and the bed was comfortable. It was a hot August night, and I was happy there was a large portable fan in my room. I paid £110 for one night, which is cheap for Oxford in August.
In the end, I had a good night's sleep amd the location was perfect for me.
I was aware that the rooms are above a very loud bar/club. I was on the top floor (good) and had earplugs with me, so was not kept awake.
