Sofa at the end of the bed was too large - it made moving to the one side of the bed difficult. They can actually remove it and rather put another sofa outside on the terrace

Rooms were oddly appointed and could have had less oversized furniture allowing more space

We have just returned from an incredible stay at Elixir Hotel Kalkan and honestly couldn’t fault a thing. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome by the wonderful staff, who truly are the heart of this hotel. The hotel itself is immaculate. Everywhere is spotlessly clean, from the rooms to the communal areas, and it is clear that great pride is taken in maintaining such a high standard. Our room was comfortable, beautifully presented, and cleaned to perfection every day. The breakfast was fantastic, with a huge selection of fresh and delicious options to choose from each morning. There was something for everyone, and it set us up perfectly for the day ahead. One of our favourite parts of the hotel was the lovely pool area. It is a beautiful, relaxing space with plenty of sunbeds and a really peaceful atmosphere. Whether you wanted to relax with a book or enjoy a drink by the pool, it was the perfect place to spend the day. The bar area was also excellent. There’s a large TV showing sports, which was great for catching up on matches, and the pool table provided hours of entertainment. We particularly enjoyed playing with some of the staff, who were always up for a laugh and made us feel more like friends than guests. What really sets Elixir Hotel apart is the team. Every member of staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared about making sure guests had the best possible experience. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they consistently went above and beyond to help. Their warmth and hospitality made our holiday truly special. This was evidenced when we came down for our first breakfast and as the only guests in the hotel, the staff could have easily run a reduced service, but instead brought the full buffet to our table, truly exceptional! Thank you to everyone at Elixir Hotel for such a memorable stay. We will definitely be returning and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kalkan.
