On the positive side, the hotel is in a very central location and conveniently offers on-site parking. The property itself is beautiful, boasting very nice decoration and impressive artworks throughout. We also thoroughly enjoyed the culinary offerings, particularly the excellent breakfast and the afternoon tea. The pool area is nice, and having bikes available was a great bonus for exploring the area. Finally, our room was comfortable and featured a lovely terrace.
We were extremely disappointed with our stay due to severe issues with noise and smells. The walls between the rooms are virtually non-existent, meaning you can hear absolutely everything from neighboring guests. Furthermore, a large structural gap between the bedroom door and the walls allowed every corridor sound to leak straight into the room, making it completely impossible to sleep. Loud disruptions also constantly echoed up from the underground garage because there is no isolating door between the garage and the hotel corridor. On top of the noise, a strong and highly unpleasant sewage canalization smell persisted throughout our entire stay, which the staff was completely unable to resolve. The bathroom was also missing basic beauty products and toiletries. Finally, the advertising is highly misleading. This is absolutely not a relaxing boutique hotel, but rather a noisy family hotel. The pool area was constantly overrun with children, so I strongly advise against booking this property if you are looking for a peaceful spa holiday.
