Welcoming host and a great location
Property was fine can be noisy from outside and we stayed during two days of fireworks and a very loud festival so our fault wrong timing excellent restaurants in the village

The location was great. It was few minutes walking distance to a beautiful beach, one minute to a market and restaurants- literally next door, 2 minutes walking distance to a bus station. Absolutely perfect location.
Upon arrival, there was no check in. This is a house, and the owner lives there. We walked in to the house, the door was wide open. There is no desk and no check-in. I walked up the stairs and to the living room, where the owner was sitting. I told the owner I had a reservation for 3 people for a room with 3 beds, the lady said there is no such rooms available, she doesn’t have such rooms- and that she new nothing of this reservation. I had to show her my “booking.com” reservation and the communication I had with the owner through booking.com. She said that the communication is with her daughter, who is not here, she’s on vacation. I had to ask this lady to call her daughter. I then had to speak with the daughter on the phone. Things eventually got straightened out, and there was a room reserved for us. But this check-in confusion was stressful, especially after a long day of travelling. The room was in the attic part of the house, which was fine, but the access to it was through a very narrow staircase- not the easiest to carry suitcases, it is also a lot of stairs for elderly. The room itself was nice and clean. The bathroom in the room was tiny. The shower cabin- one adult barely fit in it, and the shower hose had a leak. The sink had only cold water functioning. The bathroom was right below the slanted roof, which is not for tall people. The toilet is also right below the slanted part of the roof, which creates difficulties for males and tall people. To use the sink, you need to be slouched over to avoid hitting your head. As well, especially in the bathroom, there was strong odour of cats. —not for someone with allergies. Mattresses were NOT comfortable. We were also not informed that we were allowed to use a microwave, a small fridge and a kettle in the kitchen area on the main floor. I had to ask if there is a possibility to boil some water. Communication with host was poor. Would have been nice to know what facilities we had access to.
