Kommen gerne wieder.

Super nette Familie. Aufmerksam, Bemüht, Hilfsbereit, Fair. Organisieren alles und geben super Infos und Tipps für Aktivitäten usw. Saubere und große Zimmer. Lage direkt an der Bushaltestelle. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sehr nah. Rollerverleih und Wäscheservice vorhanden.

Bon lloc, a prop tens una botiga de lloguer de motos i restaurants barats i bons (especialment el Sula's).

Érem dues persones i ens van col·locar en l'habitació de 6 llits quan tenien habitacions de 2 llits disponibles. Vam demanar el canvi d'habitació perquè tenia el mateix preu i ens la van canviar sense problema. Si sou dos, demaneu-ho al principi.

Moalboal hostel

Great location opposite Cebu bus stop. P100 ride to the beach and better bars etc. good WiFi. Shoe policy. Leave by door. Housekeeping always working hard. Maria always looking out for everyone and helping suggest travel plans

O atendimento é muito bom, a Maria ajuda muito a gente, as instalações são boas também, camas confortáveis e o banheiro do quarto compartilhado privativo é ótimo. Ótima área comum, fácil fazer amizades. Perto do ponto de ônibus de chegada e saída da cidade

Os chuveiros dos banheiros compartilhados são ruins e as vezes só agua fría. Quando o hostel está cheio os 3 banheiros compartilhados ficam bem concorridos

Sehr herzliches und nettes Personal, toller Aufenthaltsraum und einfach ein schönes Hostel. Sogar mit vielen Yogamatten! :)

Perfect Location with Perfect Host

The host is amazing! Very helpful, friendly, and available. 10/10.

I stayed in a dorm, and there was no privacy curtain. Only a four person room, so I felt this was fine. Suggestion for next time.

Great service and affordable accommodation in Moalboal!

I would highly recommend this hostel to other travellers. The property is being managed by their owners and they are great (thanks Maria!). They are always open to answer any questions you may have and also help plan your trip if you want to. Facilities are cleaned regularly. Dorms have silent aircon and are clean too. Beds are comfortable.

The location is ok. The hostel is one minute away from the bus stop, but you’ll have to jump to a scooter to get to the area where the main restaurants/bars are (5 mins drive though).

Great place to stay in Moalboal

Juan and Maria are great hosts. They provide any information you need to have a great vacation there. I also happened to meet great people while I was there!

The aircon is a little bit loud for my light sleep, but I brought some earplugs so I didn't have any issues.

Abordable mais rudimentaire

- Cuisine, frigo, bouilloire à disposition dans les parties communes - Location de scoot - Partenariat avec un bon prestataire canyoning - Abordable comparé aux prix pratiqué dans la région

- Chambre rudimentaire (le drap housse ne tenais pas au lit, pas de cintre, petite chambre) - 2 salles de bain pour tout un étage - Salle de bain sale (certes dû aux autres résidents mais elles n’ont pas été proprement nettoyer durant notre séjour -3nuits) - Loin du centre « touristique » de Moalboal - 10 min en moto - Comptez 1 jour de plus de ce qui est annoncé si vous voulez laver vos affaires

Basic facilities -but does the basic very nicely. A few minutes from the bus stop (very convenient after 2 hour trip (h(esp. when I arrived late). Very helpful staff - the owner even drove me to my canyoning trip when the bus was full - really nice Filipino welcome.

Affordable accommodation and great hosts

Laguno was a great place to land while exploring Moalboal and the surrounding areas. Affordable and close to everything. And the hosts were so helpful and friendly! I got the air conditioning - get that it’s worth it!

You get what you pay for + a very nice, friendly host

Maria is lovely and super helpful with everything, gets good prices for tours etc. Luna the dog is very cute. A towel is provided, shower water is warmish as long as you’re quick. Close to Maccas and 7/11. 20 min tricycle to main bar area and white beach which is a good and bad thing. Maria upgraded us when we arrived which was nice.

Room was very, very basic. Literally just 3 beds. No shelf, nowhere to hang things like towels or anything. 1 bed didn’t have a plug socket next to it. Not even a bin in the room. The little purse attachment key really smelt horrific which left a strange smell on the bed. Showers/bathrooms very basic but can’t complain for $10 a night

Host tries to get you to book outside Booking.com, then no bed

Close to the bus

The host, Maria, suggested I come directly and pay 300 pesos, avoiding any booking.com fees. I did that and I was coming every weekend, messaging before via the booking system. That until one busy weekend, when she confirmed my bed, to message me the morning I was supposed to come that my bed was no longer available. It seems a group of people paid more and I got screwed. Didjt matter I was a loyal visitor, the shine of money mattered more to Maria and I was left with no accommodation. Then she even had the nerve to message me the night I was already supposed to be there to tell me she got me a bed somewhere else. 'Nope you have a reservation, I asked a favor from a Filipino to give you one.' The nerve. Like I was coming for free. Anyway, there are better hostels closer to the beach, owned by more honest people. And for the ones mentioning the friendliness of Maria, it's just a facade. Don't be easily fooled. Also, don't take the inner hostel room, the beds are hard as a rock.

no curtains on your bunk, which is okay for me but some people may not like. Also Karaoke from neighbours is very loud normally till midnight/1am

the width of the beds could have been 75 cm... 90-100 cm. because there is enough space

Superb

For this price, it was great. Basic but all the facilities were fine, the people were lovely and nice, both hosts and the other guests. I needed a place near the bus stop and the location was great. Easy to get tours, go to the supermarket and not be confined to the bars.

This place is not for you if you expect great comfort, privacy curtains and the likes. But it's perfectly fine.

very accommodating, made you feel at home even though home was far away.

The staff were exceptional! They helped us with any issue or query we had. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone wanting to visit Moalboal.

Room was hot to sleep in but cooled down as the night went on. potentially another fan could make a difference.

one of the best family hostels I’ve stayed in , all the reviews you read about laguno are correct and was one the reasons I picked it . Maria and Juan were so helpful and amazing deffo recommend staying here and very social as it really felt like I had a family for the 3 days I stayed there .

Amazing stay with super helpful staff

Very good!

People were so friendly and it was next to the busstation. We rented a scooter to drive to the area with all the restaurants.

The accommodation is simple, but it was okay for us! You get what you pay for.

The location was great and the hosts were very helpful and knowledgeable

The rooms need better ventilation; the bathrooms need better and more frequent cleaning and kitchen supplies lacking.

I got the beat service EVEEEEEER. the stuff are super super super cool, friendly and helpful. They organised everything for me, from tours, scooters and tips. I felt like I'm spending time with family 😃 They will do anything to exceed your expectations!! They will give you all the tips and help you for best spots. I'll recommend to everyone to book here without any second thoughts, it's the best hostel in the Philippines!

I would come back in a second.

Maria and Juan are simply fabulous. They treat their guests like a family, always there to share a nice word or help with the itinerary. We loved every second of our stay and we actually extended it by 2 nights. It was sad saying goodbye!
