The room is big, with air conditioning in the hot weather, I got a balcony with tables and chairs, the pool and gym are really good

Breakfast was OK Only had breakfast once out of seven days. Quoted different price on Booking com .Hotel wanted to charge £1 extra per person. Leisure facilities were great, best ever. Bistro type café /snack area.

Housekeeping - Chamber staff were friendly and helpful in the hotel and spa.
The hotel was recommended by a well known Surgeon in Cottbus. We chose it because it has a swimming pool.
Staff could have been more helpful and pleasant, at reception - everything seemed an effort for them. They need to be more sensitive and patient to the older age group, who may require assistance with printing out Covid formulae for departure travel.
The reception was a brilliant conceptional idea. It is an atrium with stunning lighting features. Unfortunately it did not work well in practice. It is open area and echoed - voices from reception area and conversations could be heard on the first floor right along the corridor.
Piped music in corridors was too loud and the restaurant music also was loud it could be heard in our rooms.
The restaurant was an Italian theme. It was served by one waitress/ proprietor Italian?
she was unfriendly, no hello, no thank you or good bye. She was not busy on the second time we went it. We would not use it again if we came again. My wife was challenged by a club member because my wife does not feel comfortable to go nude. Fortunately the manager came to my wife's aid.
