Frühstück für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei, ausreichend und immer reichlich vorhanden. Seniorchef witzig, Rezeptionistin sehr freundlich, kompetent und hilfsbereit! Essen im Restaurant sehr gut, netter Kellner. Ideal für Fahrradfahrer, eigener geschützter Bereich für Fahrräder. Genügend Parkplätze vorhanden. Landschaft Top!

A great base for exploring the Wachau region by bike, with plenty of wineries all around — perfect if you enjoy cycling and wine.
Tip for travellers: In Austria, many good accommodations are not listed on global platforms like Booking.com, and are found mainly through regional tourism websites (often only in German) or by contacting the property directly. With fewer options visible on the big platforms, prices there can look higher than what the region actually offers. It is worth doing a bit of manual searching — email or call a few places directly, and note that in Austria rates are usually quoted per person rather than per room. A little extra effort can uncover better-quality stays at surprisingly good prices.
The hotel could use some renovation, particularly the interior and the beds, which were too soft for my taste. The price was also higher than I expected for what the room offered.
