Cottages are top notch but it would be nice to have wifi inside not just outside. As I couldn't do any work or watch my elderly parents. A boost would be good in each property.

Lovely quirky Mill, we stayed on the ground floor. Beautiful surroundings outside with our own private garden too. Parking was easy, always a space available.We had everything we needed in the mill for our weekend stay. The bathroom was lovely with an amazing power shower. The bed was one of the best we have slept in with quality pillows and linen. The whole place was so clean. Easy check- in too and we were accommodated with an earlier time slot too. We would highly recommend staying here, we wished we would have booked an extra night.

Quirky and pretty cottages. The cottage is clean and has all the basic things that you would need for a short break (Stable). The beds were comfy. Nice that there was coffee and some spices in cabinet.
The location is the worst thing about this property. It’s on a very busy road and there aren’t any direct walking paths. So you have to take your car to get to walking paths that are located nearby as the road doesn’t have any safe walking space for pedestrians (especially if you are walking a dog). The big green fields behind the property can’t be accessed by guests.
The paddock is handy but it’s small so don’t expect your dog to get lots of running space.
The “enclosed garden” of the Stables cottage was not accessible directly from the cottage. So you had to take the dogs out the front door to a communal space shared by other residents with dogs to access it. You can’t just let them out for a quick pee in the private garden, which is how it seems on description.
Other issues were that the WiFi wasn’t working during our entire stay. On our night of arrival the host said they would have a look at it in the morning but we did not receive an update. I can now see that other reviewers have reported that they didn’t have any WiFi connection either, so it’s clearly a regular issue.
Finally, the water tank was in the second bedroom and I believe it is shared with the next door cottage. If anyone turned on a tap or flushed a toilet in either cottage the noise from the tank was really loud.
