Many hikes start here and hikes seem to be well marked. A nice and beautiful location to see aurora and fall colors. The breakfast buffet had a good variety of food and dinner at the restaurant were also good, though somewhat limited menu selections. The bed was comfortable for us. We liked the small store in the lobby area which has basic practical selection for hikers and some souvenirs. The staff were very friendly. The sauna was nice and clean.
The in-room shower setup with curtain may flood the toilet area. We took a shower at the sauna, so there was no issue. There was only one kind of soap in the bathroom which we assumed that we would use it for body and hair. There was no lotion. The cups were placed directly on the sink upside, which didn't seem to be sanitary. It was hard to get into the bed from one side of the bed due to a narrow space between the wall and the bed, The reception and the restaurant do not open until 7 am, which was a bit inconvenient if you need to leave early. We didn't ask if we could check out earlier though.

What an amazing location with the trails starting straight from the hostel. Solid comfy beds, well equipped and large bright kitchen. Unlike most other people I stayed for 3 nights and used it as a base for some lovely day hikes. Would definitely stay again

Location, cleanliness, convenience.
A bit stuffy and warm room since you can't open windows during summer due to mosquitoes. Would be great if theres a window net.

- Nice breakfast buffet with everything you would expect
- Complimentary sauna can be used in the youth hostel next door
- Overall the facilities do not correspond to the price at all. For 112€ per night for one person, you would expect a very good experience. However the place is ordinary.
- There are some very unfriendly gestures by the management: with the room being very tight and having no real table, only a small commode, one would like to sit at some of the nice places in the public areas to eat. However all the tables including those outside of the restaurant are marked with signs that you are not allowed to eat your own food there. For the price paid this is outrageous.
- Another one being that they provide only thin two-layered toilet paper and no bath mat for the shower
- Of course it is known in advance at the time of booking but the very restricted check out time (8-10am) is also not very good service.
- If you plan to do some work on the wifi, bad news: internet access is censored using a "Fortiguard" whitelist, which means VPNs or custom services cannot be used on their wifi.
- It was too cold in my room and the heating did not deliver much heat when turned all the way up.
