The rooms were very nice and comfortable. The staff kept everything nice and clean. As well as they hosted a tasty breakfast every morning.

The hotel is in a good location for exploring Sapa and walking distance to bars/restaurants and Sapa Church. Our room was large and comfortable although, like the rest of the hotel, it looked 'tired'. The room had a large balcony and there was access to another from the hallway. Unfortunately, we weren't able to appreciate these during the day due to the extremely loud construction work taking place on the adjacent block (ditto the front terrace). The staff at the hotel are welcoming and friendly but appear to be understaffed in some areas.
Hot showers were not something we experienced at Lacasa. Lukewarm, yes but not hot. Big tip - get to breakfast early. The hotel seems to rely on large tour groups. These tour groups start their day early and quickly devour much of the food and drink at breakfast time, which the hotel seems to be unable or unwilling to replenish. As mentioned earlier, the hotel looks 'tired' (ie rundown). It certainly doesn't look like the polished photos online. Anyone with mobility issues should note the hotel has no lift.
