Unexpected instruding. We went out for lunch & not yet leaving hotel as our luggages were still at hotel. The assistant staff instruded us at our lunch break which was next to hotel & simply asking for a 2 water bottles payment. We politely paid & gave him a tip as well. To be fair he did give a reason to do so as the reception needs to close the room account. Still we don't think they should risk their reputation to instrude customer outside of hotel at our lunch break. I hope they show more curtesy to customer.

If you have a weak spot for hotels whose dark wood, high ceilings, faded carpets, dated aesthetic, and random statuary evoke a bygone era, you'll enjoy the Riverside. Excellent location, clean rooms (though my shower curtain was a bit spotty), solid breakfast. Great views of the river from most floors and the rooftop bar. My room was bizarrely huge (two rooms, really), and price couldn't be beat, especially as it turned out I was there when they were celebrating the renaming of the city.
Bathroom had no place to put toiletries (I used the back of the toilet), and shower was a hand-held in a non-adjustable mount that basically sprayed straight out from the wall. Hot water tap on sink was dangerously hot.
