We had a wonderful welcome from the team, so friendly and helpful. Service is attentive, food delicious, the whole experience is charming and welcoming. Really good range of beer and wine. So much characterful things to see in this beautiful hotel. We parked immediately across the road so checking in was easy and efficient. Dog friendly too. The village is a delight with a lovely navigational walk around to see the landmarks. There is another bar and some further food options in the village too. I would highly recommend and would definitely consider returning.
WiFi is slow but the village is very remote, not an issue to be honest

Our second stay here, returning after 18 years. Generous breakfast and comfy bed in a stunning building. The bathroom was a little dated and we didn't work out why there was a one-way mirror to watch the occupant(s) of the jacuzzi but at least there're was a curtain for privacy! The village is absolutely beautiful and lovely to walk around.
