The soundproofing of the windows is really impressive. Despite the hotel's location on a big busy road, I didn't hear any traffic noise at all. (I was on the 7th floor.) I've stayed in multiple hotels in Taipei where there is mold around the windows due to poor installation (missing insulation). I was glad to see this hotel didn't have that issue. Another one of my peeves with Taipei hotels is terrible soundproofing between rooms - this hotel seemed to perform pretty well in that regard too. I had a few encounters with staff and found them all very courteous. No issues with cleanliness either.
The air conditioner temperature couldn't really be adjusted. And when I tried to switch from AC function to fan-only function, the fan kept malfunctioning. Personally, I also found the neighborhood a little boring.

The location was very central. The space was adequate. Unlike other hotels with the same rating, the heater was working very well during the cold current week. It was lovely as well. Only 300 m to a metro station, and a morning market for food.
The cleaning crew could be quite loud when they were cleaning the rooms opposite my room. The banging woke me up. The crew would clean at 10 am or at 2 pm. Not so efficient.

The room was flawless in terms of style, cleanliness, etc. Thick walls and windows made for sound sleep. Having the washers and dryers on the 10th floor was one of the key selling points for me as I was on a long trip, and they worked perfectly and were easy to use - staff can supply change, as well as detergent for a small fee. Two minutes' walk to the MRT and easy access to the rest of the city.
I arrived just before 11pm because of a flight delay and asked about a place to find food - the staff were polite and professional but, as a small area of improvement, not very knowledgeable about local places to eat. They said it would not be possible to find a place so late and pointed me to a 7/11. A few days later I found a little chain Taiwanese 24-hour restaurant/takeaway five minutes' walk away that would've been much better than the instant noodles I ended up with!

0ne lift only. Lift too small. Can take only 4 people. Always overload if there's luggage & guests @ same time. So only 2guests + luggage at one time.
