The name is misleading. Has nothing to do with the Japanese hotel Nikko group.
Other than that the hotel was convenient. 20min from the airport and in walking distance to the main avenue. A lot of restaurants nearby.
The room is basic but OK. AC working. Water pressure good.
The bed linen is clean but looks a bit worn out.
Breakfast is Indian East African style. Different selection each day.
Staff very accommodating.
Was staying with my elderly and frail mom that needs walking aids. The hotel was supportive and the facilities suitable for her needs.
The windows are very thin. Traffic noise. However not on a main road therefore manageable.
There is a big mosque directly behind the hotel. Call for prayers very audible.
For me no issue.

Because of my schedule, I rarely had breakfast. But the couple of occasions I had it was nice mix of balanced meal. The juices were especially nice as the were freshly blended.
The hotel location has the mosque just behind it which was quite disturbing with noise. The noise would start around 9PM till as late as 11PM and resume again around 4AM.

Kind off, the AC was working good at least
First of all. They tried to charge me in shillings with an outrageous fare, over 3.5% more per dollar just because. If they want to charge in dollars they should do it with a terminal that can do that. So I recommend to pay on the app (or website) before getting there. Also, this hotel feels kind of old, like if it was used to be good in late 90s, or early 2000s; but nowadays it’s kind of neglected. I couldn’t even roll the door of my bathroom. Also, the breakfast felt kind of poor, and like they were forcing you into eating something because there are not many options at all. They don’t even have cheese for an omelette.
