Loved how friendly the staff was. I needed to work and the reception area was warm and cosy with a fireplace. It felt like home. Dinner was great. Just awesome view. Rooms were spacious and very comfortable. The whole ambiance of a forest was stunning. It was brilliant showering and still being immersed in the forest vibes. I requested for non alcoholic wine as part of the celebratory package and they had that ready in the room. Thank you for a lovely stay.
I think it was a lot more expensive than what some excellent 4 star or 5 star places cost.
The spa was ridiculously expensive. Nearly R6000 for a couple for 3 or 4 hours. That's Europe prices for South African.
I wished that the jacuzzi could have been open to the guest as part of the hotel facilities.
The WiFi in the rooms were very weak. Therefore I had to go and work in the reception lounge.

Beautiful & unique part of the forest.Great breakfast by Bruce.
It was an exceptional cold & wet night when we arrived.After viewing our room we commented on it being rather cold & I was told there is an oil heater & electric blanket in place.We did request another room but we’re told there isn’t a warmer one.
Well it was one of the worst nights of our life being so cold and uncomfortable.We mentioned it to Bruce the next morning but was told that they will be installing wall panel heaters soon.This really spoiled an evening we looked forward to.
