Heel mooi appartementje, goed onderhouden en geweldige hosts!

De accomodatie zelf was heel goed onderhouden en groot! Een leuk balkonnetje maakte het af. De hosts zijn altijd, letterlijk altijd bereikbaar en enorm vriendelijk. Onze complimenten aan zowel Elisabetta als Marinella!

Het straatlawaai en het geclaxoneer van de bussen, zelfs met de ramen en alles volledig afgesloten.

The photos made it out that there was a sea view which there wasn’t from the apartment because they have hung up a cord

The courtyard was cute and the view from over the concrete seat was beautiful

The main photos are of a completely different room and there was no sea view from the apartment unless you walked outside and across the courtyard. There were also no windows to open and let in some airflow. Only the front door.

Great view and a lovely staff that’s always ready to help you out. Elisabetta and her crew are all kind hearted people who wish to help you out in the best possible way wether it be suggestions of what to do, help with the busses or any other troubles you might find, so that you can have the greatest possible vacation on the Amalfi Coast. And for those of you who are worried about the communication between yourself and Elisabetta (and her crew). You’ll have nothing to be fearful about. The English level is very good, easily understandable and you’ll find that it is no problem to communicate.

Nothing(!!) about our trip that has been a “problem” or a cause of troubles is at fault of Domus Caterina. Everything about our stay at Domus Caterina has been amazing.

Damaging & Disappointing Stay.. :(

The actual location of this property was amazing. Amalfi - specifically Furore - is absolutely breathtaking and we enjoyed how accessible it was by car. The parking was great and the area felt safe.

My husband and I wanted to spend our one year wedding anniversary in Amalfi. We had been saving since January and planning this wonderful trip. A big part of this trip was where we were going to stay. Upon browsing Booking.com we found Domus Caterina. When looking through the pictures, we fell in love with the balcony views and how gorgeous the interior was. Now this is the important part: When we were booking this stay, there was no option or choice to chose between apartments. There was no option to chose an apartment with or without a balcony, and there was no indication anywhere that there were other apartments to be rented. (After talking with the property, they said that if the other two apartments are booked, they will disappear from the website... which that was also misleading considering that in all my years of using Booking, it has usually states "Sold Out!" on the other options when you book). Anyways... now given that this was our one year anniversary trip - I TRIPLE checked to make sure that it had all the amenities we wanted. NOWHERE did it state that we were actually getting an apartment without a balcony. Fast forward to the night of our arrival... we walked in to our apartment and realized it was actually a small, hole in the wall apartment. Sure, it was clean and it did have a full kitchen which was appreciated. But NO VIEW, NO BALCONY. When I saw the state of the room, my heart sunk and it may seem like an overreaction to some.. but when you've literally spent all the money you worked so hard to save for a once in a lifetime trip and get THIS.. you too would be disappointed. Long story short... BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN YOU BOOK. A lot of the images are misleading and nowhere does it state that you are getting an apartment without a balcony. They will not help you or compensate you for their false advertising - you will have to file a dispute. We are greatly disappointed and will be taking further measures.

Perfect.

Everything was above expectations. The apartment has everything you need including a parking spot which is not easy to find on the Amalfi coast. Highly recommend it.

The property was in a great location. Elizabetta went above and beyond to make our stay as easy and enjoyable as possible. She personally drove us to and from the property as the bus system can be difficult and time consuming, she assisted with connecting buses and just made our stay so amazing we cannot recommend this property enough!

Beautiful apartment

The apartment was absolutely gorgeous and so clean. Kitchen was well equipped, bathroom spotless. Our hosts were amazing. The views were spectacular!

It was a little isolated, public transport was patchy at best as on route to the coast.

Very spacious apartament with sea view

Sea view, very spacious apartment, super clean.

Location is not very good for those who want to travel by public transportation. Bus stop is very near but sometimes buses are full. Also, there was no minimal cleaning during our stay (2 days).

Amazing :)

We had a wonderful stay at Domus Caterina. The apartment was just perfect. Very well equipped with a beautiful view and very well located. Elisabetta helped us a lot and gave us all the info we needed. I only can recommend this place and if we return to the region we would definitely stay here again 🙂

Superb

You could really say that the owners of these apartments build them with a lot of love for their customers and style. We really felt like at home. Everything was perfect - precise cleanness, a lot of space, every room had its own TV and air-conditioner. Fragrant linen bedding, lovely shower room with nice details everywhere. The kitchen was just perfect. We found everything we needed - a lot of plates, bowls, glasses, cups, various pots, and coffee machines - overall, it was fully equipped. Also - we enjoyed the opportunity to sort our trash out and do all the laundry as the apartments had a co-shared room with everything for your best laundry experience. Staying at these apartments, you could feel the Amalfi vibe - a beautiful co-shared inner yard with a lemon tree, a view of the sea and bunks to relax and enjoy the sea and sun. Mosaic details everywhere around. Many lemon details are inside on tiles, towels, fabrics, and home fragrances. The owners were also just exceptional - smooth communication before arrival. Once at the place, we were fully onboarded with all the information about the traffic, bus timetables, suggestions for places to visit, and things to have in mind while travelling around the Amalfi coast. We are incredibly thankful for the owners that they were super willing to help us to find options to reach Amalfi on our last day so that we could manage to catch our flight in Naples. As it was the Italian holidays, 5080 buses from Agerola to Amalfi were full of people, the drivers would not stop to take us, and the taxis were super expensive to get to the coast. Marinella was eager to help us and came to the bus station to suggest ways how to reach the Amalfi and be with us. Thank you both for being there for us. You are wonderful people <3

The location is not that bad actually - 10km to Amalfi, so approx. 25 min by 5080 bus. We enjoyed seeing The fjord of Furore on foot, and we climbed the stairs down for more than 1 hour - it was worth it. However, at the end of the day, you feel exhausted due to tense, because you always worry about catching the bus, being allowed / not allowed to the bus, waiting for the bus as it departures/arrives mainly not on time, etc. as the Amalfi is the main point for you to travel further - to Positano, Praiano, Capri, Sorrento, etc. But maybe we felt that way as it was the high season and thousands of tourists in August. In short- a lot of dependency on the one and only 5080 bus as the taxi is expensive. On the other side, we didn't rent a car - so if you wanted you could do that.

Very nice place, would definitely stay again

Very comfortable, cute, had all the necessary amenities, nice kitchen and bathroom. Amazing view over the ocean from the balcony, and a nice shared patio perfect for sunbathing. Host was amazing aswell, gave us a lift up to Bomerano to get supplies and showed us where to catch buses

Location was good, situated on a bus route, but quite a way up the mountain away from the sea and a very windy road to get to the area
