I have stayed over the years in a lot of places in which I am one amongst a number in a bunk bed in a shared space but this was my best experience ever. That was mainly because the beds were not crowded together and also key facilities ie.showers and toilets, were exceptionally functional.
I loved too that the hostel bar was open during the week until 2am, that is civilised. And the "fast food" snacks were not fast food at all but included, for example, gorgeous sandwiches that were infinitely superior to UK offerings.
I should add that the staff were really helpful and friendly. They if course spoke English really well but I have experienced less welcoming stays with staff equally accomplished in English.
I honestly can't think of anything that I disliked.

The location is fantastic for exploring Aarhus.
For a hostel the bedrooms were very quiet.
Very friendly and helpful staff
The photos are of places within short walking distance.
No cooling in the rooms. But it was a hot summer

Great location and access to parts of town. Behind the-scenes kitchen staff warm, kind and helpful at breakfast.
Really shocked by lack of support from front of house staff and facilities, especially as a family. Charging for tap water at bar during summer heat, nowhere to heat up food for child or store milk/food despite large empty cantina during day, no hot water to access, but mostly concerned by lack of ventilation or ability to open windows on basement rooms without full access to street so unable to cool room during day or feel safe at night.

"The breakfast was indeed sumptuous. The hotel overlooks a park and it's close to the Latin Quarters, so I had a wonderful time walking around the place. The hotel itself had a great vibe."
