Hacienda La Cienega

A very warm welcome and an incredibly beautiful historic building which I really enjoyed exploring. My room was very comfortable with everything I needed and there was an open fire though I didn’t use it. Candle light throughout the night was lovely. I didn’t have dinner but breakfast and the service was very good. There is a good place to observe the Cotopaxi volcano if you are lucky enough for it not to be covered in cloud but Reception can guide you. I would undoubtedly stay here again and I can wholeheartedly recommend it to others

The Hacienda is wonderful. A tourist attraction in its own right. The great geographer Humboldt visited in 1801. Superb chapel, trees, garden, views of Cotopaxi.

Baños muy anticuados. Pocos planes cerca.

El sitio está muy bien mantenido a pesar de que es antiguo. La decoración también. Estaba limpio todo y la habitación cómoda.

El servicio le falta mucho. Los empleados completamente desentendidos con todo, parcos no te dan la bienvenida. En la publicidad sale que hay distintos servicios, ninguno está disponible. No saben nada sobre la historia del sitio y si les preguntas te dicen que tú mismo vayas y busques información. A pesar de que el costo del alojamiento es elevado $180 la noche, le faltan muchos amenities. El desayuno muy básico, te dan pan con huevo, fruta y café, si pides algo más no tienen. La carta del restaurante cara y simple para el valor. El personal con cara de pocos amigos y solo se limitan a contestar lo básico no les gusta que preguntes.
