About this house rental
Vacation Home located on a great hill side mountain lot. The outdoor living area features a large relaxing deck on the front of the home. This Home is adjacent to the the historic 1880s Green Mountain Falls “Rose Cottage”. The cottage is located in front of the summer home and is vacant. Additionally, the lot is adjacent to the Catamount Falls trail head which leads to the Pikes Peak Catamount reservoir. The upper level of the home features a large Great Room. This room boasts open beam ceilings and wood floors made from 100+ year old re-purposed lumber. Additionally you will find, a fireplace, two sitting areas, flat screen TV, and Antiques originally found in the historic "Rose Cottage". The kitchen features Granite counter tops and a mix of modern stainless steel and vintage appliances. An open stair case leads to the lower level. The lower level features 3 bedrooms (2 with private vanities) and 1 bathroom. You will also find a compact washer and dryer and storage for towels and bath supplies. Reconnect with nature and enjoy the comforts this Vacation Home has to offer!!!

We love this cabin! Perfect for enjoying the hummingbirds, wonderful hiking all day long them coming back to that amazing view of wildlife. The whole family enjoys it so much!

We loved being nestled in the mountains. The ease of getting to Manitou Springs and Colorado Springs while being able to escape the hustle and bustle was wonderful.

We pulled up at 11pm, and it was tricky to find! We were so surprised at how lovely everything was in the morning, both in the home and in the small Green Mountain Falls area! This area was a unexpected gem! We enjoyed hiking around the house, the trails and old resort lake, the cute restaurant area and just hanging out on the deck! It was our sons first time leaving USAFA since we dropped him off in June, and he loved feeling so far away, but it was only 35 minutes!

This cabin was great and worked well for our family of 5. Clean and cool with the bedrooms downstairs and the kitchen and living area upstairs. The cabin is nestled in trees and the mountains, so with that come lots of nature. Unfortunately we did get stung by a couple of wasps so be on the lookout. The property is very close to all that Colorado Springs and surrounding areas has to offer. Green Mountain Falls is a cute little town with a great breakfast place called The Pantry. We would recommend this property for your family.

The spacious cabin is conveniently located to Manitou Springs and mountains. There are plenty of dishes and cookware and it is beautifully furnished and decorated.

This cabin is located right where we wanted to be. I recommend this cabin to all who want a quiet location to vacation. There are only positive things that I can say about our stay here.

Absolutely Perfect!
This was an amazing property in one of the most beautiful towns I have ever traveled to. Everything about this home and amenities was perfect. It is a beautiful cabin with the property owner providing everything you would need. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything and everything I needed cooking for my family. The open kitchen/living space was so comfortable and the perfect amount of space for me and my husband and our two teenage boys. This would be my go to property anytime I would want to visit Colorado. There is trail head access just steps from this property to the best hiking we found on our entire trip.

Nice vacation rental in the wilderness
Nice cabin in the woods. Lots of old antiques and interesting decor in the cabin. Fantastic location with wildlife and deer just around the cabin and excellent for nature lovers. The upstairs living room got very hot during the day and as the cabin has no aircondition it was difficult to be in the living room for any extended time. The cabin is definitely unique and great for people whom are looking to escape the city and going back to nature / roughing it a bit.

Perfect family get-away.
My husband, three young sons, and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We could sit on the upstairs patio and watch the boys play in the yard. Daily we saw wildlife such as deer and chipmunks outside the windows. The hiking trail started right by the property so was very convenient to get to. We have already been talking about returning.
