We loved the option of being able to walk out on our lanai and straight onto the grounds. Everything was made easy for us to utilize. The beach accessories were so helpful, the pool facility was beautiful, the towel cards were a great bonus too! Would definitely stay here again!

Nice older condo. Easy in and out. Close to the restaurants and shops in Whaler’s. No pool on premises. Have to go down Poipu Rd. to access pool, gym and cafe. Really nice gym/ pool area but a slight inconvenience to get there across Poipu road. A bit loud with the road noise but nothing that would dissuade me from renting again. TV didn’t work when we arrived and it took a couple of days to get maintenance out to fix it. We’re not on island to watch TV but we do enjoy the occasional game etc. Also found it odd there weren’t any cleaning supplies. Desk says they don’t supply them even though there’s a placard asking you to keep the place clean. We purchased and donated some… All in all, close to where we wanted to be and walking distance to beach sunset. We’ll definitely consider renting again…

Stayed here for a wedding that was at the Sheraton. This property did not disappoint! The views and central location were prefect for our vacation. Can’t wait to stay here again

We had a beautiful week long stay at this condo! Everything about it was amazing! Very comfortable, and it had everything we needed! The king sized bed was very comfortable, and the condo was super clean! We loved the lanai, and were so happy that there were two lounge chairs along with a table with 4 chairs! We were also so happy to find Tommy Bahama beach chairs...3, and beach umbrellas! You don´t need to bring these to the beach, as the resort provides chairs down at the beach, however, we love Tommy Bahama chairs because they recline, and they are easy to carry down to the beach because of the back pack straps. The walk to the absolutely gorgeous beach only took 5 mintues, and we are in our 60s, so probably even shorter for younger folks!
The walk throught the resort grounds is beautiful, and shady!! I cannot say enough about the beach! The waves were incredible, and we were able to snorkel right at our beach...we even got to swim with a sea turtle!! Right down the beach to the left, there is an area where Monk Seals beach themselves, and also sea turtles! It´s just amazing to see them so up close and in their natural habitat!!
Although this condo is the farthest from the beach, it is the closest to the Poipu Shopping Village, which is where all the great restaurants, Whaler´s General Store, Starbucks, and gelato shop are!! 2 minute walk...we were there every day!!
No worries about not have AC...we never needed it once!! The ocean breeze is amazing!! We will be back!

When we arrived at the property, it was around 8pm, our backup key card didn’t work, the kiosk to get the other key card wasn’t working either, and it said there was no such reservation with the code provided. I contacted management, but they said I couldn’t do anything other than go back to the kiosk and try again. Then mgmt called back and gave us a # to security, who opened the door for us without asking for proof of stay, but was very kind bc we had our 1 year old daughter with us who was extremely cranky being that it was 2am back at home. We had no working key card until the next morning when someone finally responded to our text. That being said, if you need assistance, text before the evening hours as they do not respond in the evening. We weren’t happy about being nearly homeless on our first night in Kauai after an 11 hour flight.
Otherwise, the place is nice, convenient and walking distance to the beach. There’s a beautiful garden walk right outside through the back that leads to the beach where there’s a walking path and restaurants. Right across the street is a little shopping center where you can get breakfast and Starbucks.
The TV didn’t work, but I didn’t care about that. The carpet gets damp if the fans aren’t on. There’s an ant trail in the kitchen by the garbage pail. Little flies in the bathtub, which is probably from the dampness. But everything else was fine with us. Would I stay here again? Sure! But I’d make sure they check that the key card works first before I arrive.

It rained a lot and many of our excursions got cancelled. The roosters wake you up about 2 am. Location is pretty good. Short drive to many good places. The athletic club really needs an adult olny hot tub.

This unit is on keahuna beach, in the plantation on poipu. The unit overlooks a beautiful garden and is a short walk to the ocean. I forgot all about work, responsibilities, and our dog back home while being here.

We enjoyed our time at this condo. The property is located in a good spot. We really enjoyed daily walking thru the garden to the beach.
The condo is older and not stalked with much extras but that’s fine. They do have a variety of books to read and some water toys/chairs.
The club for the pool/hot tub is located a little far away for walking if you want a short trip, but a very short drive. It was easy to get in and we enjoyed the pool(not heated) and hot tub.
The only thing we noticed was there was ALOT of tiny bugs in the kitchen when we arrived but everything else was clean.
Make sure you are okay with no AC, it does get hot.
The hosts were responsive during booking and when we reached out. :) Thank you to them for letting us enjoy Kauai in their condo.

Has everything you need for a comfortable stay in Kauai. Location is great close to beach and beach club with gym, pool, food and other amenities. Centrally located to access west side (Waimea) east side and north shore (Hanalei). Relaxed and quiet setting.

We love the Kiahuna. The property is older now and a bit dated, but if that doesn't bother you, you will love this condo. The pool and gym are great and the beach can't be beat!

Beautiful Stay
We loved this property as it was in such a nice location, so close to the beach and many other places on the island. I appreciate how easy it was to communicate with the property owners as well. The only thing we experience some trouble with was requesting towels and they said they will bring them up but never received them. If that’s the only problem with the property, then I cannot complain. Excellent stay and would recommend!

Stayed, site unseen, and will be back again and again!
Koloa Kai management made this vacation for us an absolute breeze. Check in was incredibly easy, and the accommodation was beyond what we expected, mainly in regards to the grounds of Kiahuna as a whole. We loaded up with groceries prior to getting there, and made ourselves at home right away. The beach access was easy; the grounds are truly a dream to walk through; the BBQs everywhere are spotless and cook evenly…this place is spectacular. We loved having a bottom floor room, where the lanai walked right out onto some grass. There were enough pots, pans, dishes, utensils, etc. to cook most of our meals there, comfortably. Very highly recommend this entire facility, and Koloa Kai for their simplicity in checking in, and their great communication throughout.

Great place for family of four!
We loved walking through the cactus garden to the beach for sunset every night! (Super close to Starbucks, too, if that matters to you!) Well equipped and peaceful. First time staying in one of the condos close to the road, and you hear some traffic + music on the weekend from the event in the field by the pool, but it wasn’t too loud or bothersome. Super clear and easy communication throughout. We’d come again!!!

Best beach in Poipu and best location
We always stay at Kiahuna Plantation and I think this is our 7th time on the island. Jed and his teamed worked though all the Covid issues with us and we did not lose any money. They were very helpful and I would for sure work with them again. The condo is in a wonderful area but there are roosters everywhere on the island so bring ear plugs. The pool and workout area is amazing. And the beach is perfect for surfing and a quick walk for snorkeling.

Great Kauai Getaway
We had a very enjoyable and relaxing Thanksgiving vacation week. The unit was clean, well furnished, and well supported by the management company. We had no issues during our stay. Would have preferred a more in-person check-in experience, rather than the grocery store pickup, but it went ok. In all, a very good rental experience.

Perfect location
We were within a five minute drive from just about everything we wanted to do on the south shore. No a/c but extremely good air flow and fans, so we were comfortable. Beautiful resort and landscaping, we loved the beach right behind the property.

The grounds are so beautiful, our building was beneath the shade of the banyan trees. Loved the location, very quiet area and had the open expanse of lawn in front of our patio. The ocean is just a short walk and so convenient to be able to come back whenever we wanted.

Wondering
You take a small set of stairs to access room below and when you walk in it has a beautiful view of the gardens, trees and some ocean! The room was perfect for our family with all the essentials from cooking utensils to a beach umbrella. Just a 5-8 min walk from the beach and 5 minute walk to the pool (which has a bar, gym, water slide and sand area for kids). You can stop on your way at a cute little coffee shop! We also had access to the laundry room. The owners were very accommodating and kept the whole process of renting from them very easy. They were excellent hosts. Definitely would recommend this cute home away from home!

The unit is super simple and super comfortable and with the louvers open on both sides there is a lovely breeze almost continuously. I had one minor question about the unit and the owners got back to me within an hour with the answer I needed. All in all a lovely in near-perfect place to stay on this wonderful island.

Clean and cozy condo in a great area
This was a great condo at a good price for the location. Unfortunately we were there at the front end of the Covid-19 panic and did not get to experience all the fine dining, activities, or amenities that are usually available. Fortunately, we were still able to walk across the road to pick up take-away and the condo had everything we needed for serving up the meal. We took some long walks, and were able to drive up Waimea Canyon and beyond Koke'e, although the parks were closed and parking lots roped off. The beds and pillows are comfortable, including the fold-out. It looked like there were plenty of dishes, pots and pans for cooking even though we didn't avail ourselves of them. There were supplies in the bathrooms, a safe in one of the closets if needed, and beach toys were in another closet. The lanai was a nice, private spot for drinking our coffee in the morning and our wine at night. We loved walking through the garden! The traffic noise could have been bothersome at night, but there was a 9PM-5AM curfew so not an issue for us. All in all, a great property that we would consider staying at again.
