Electric cord ready for boat recharging. Circa 1935, rustic painted wooden plank floors (may creak), updated bathroom, kitchen, mud room, screened porch. Perfect for year-round fishing, boating, biking, camping trips; snowmobiling. King bed and twin bed upper level, fold away twin cots. if using couch - could sleep 6. Air conditioning in upper-level bedroom only; bathroom is on lower level. Small TV/DVD player upper level, Larger FireTV with DVD on lower level; HDMI cord for your laptop connection and WIFI are provided. We are 0.3 miles (5 minute walk) from the Butterfield Lake State launch, several vehicles with boats pass by daily. Also walking distance to two convenience stores with gas, post office, laundromat, three churches, and nature trails. Sorry, no pets due to allergies in host family.
NOTE: We are two doors down from the Redwood Volunteer Fire Dept so you may hear the siren at times. In case of extended power outages/emergencies that is a shelter as well.
