The cottage is lovely and beautifully located on a quiet road, just a few yards from an excellent village pub with great food and quiet clientele. Nicely equipped kitchen, which could do with a little crockery sort. Car parking is generally easy except in the evening when the pub is full.
At 6ft I did catch the back of my head every time I came down stairs. But that's the price of a 300 year old cottage.
What was a puzzle was the badly overgrown state of the back garden. It looks as if it hadn't been tended in months, when it could be beautiful like the two gardens next door. We were in number 93.
Dog owners should be aware that Eastbourne beach is not open to dogs in the summer. The nearest is Pevensey Bay which isn't too far. But walking the dogs on Eastbourne promenade became a challenge since they naturally wanted to get onto the beach.

Very clean, nice quiet location plus a lovely touch as wine & chocolates on arrival. A nice home from home while we were attending a week-long event in Eastbourne.

Nice location.
Cottage was great for 2 of us. The main bedroom was roomy and comfortable.
Shower was good.
Back garden was okay to sit in but the garden furniture needed a clean down and luckily we had seat pads to sit on as we were in Eastbourne for the tennis - without them, it wouldn’t have been very comfy.

Location good close to pub and excellent Thai restaurant Easy drive into Town centre
Visited Congress theatre which was excellent
Property was an old cottage so you need to take that into account but it appeared tired and in need of some updating
