Let me start with the conclusion: this might well be the best place to stay on the island of Chios. Thanks to its location overlooking the main square of Mesta village, you find yourself right in the midst of the best cafes, restaurants, and shops the moment you step out the door. The house is incredibly comfortable; despite being in the village center, it is remarkably well-insulated from outside noise. Everything you might need—including a small kitchen—has been thoughtfully provided. Watching the little birds land on the clothesline in the lovely courtyard to sleep in the evenings is a sheer delight. I also have to mention the host, Tasos; he is incredibly helpful and a fantastic host. He has a solution for every conceivable situation, offers assistance tirelessly, and goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is perfect. (A quick tip: he has a great list of the island's best beaches—be sure to ask for it). We loved it and will definitely be back next year. Thanks for everything, Tasos!

Υπέροχο δωμάτιο, πεντακάθαρο, τρομερή τοποθεσία, εξαιρετική εξυπηρέτηση από όλους! Φρόντισαν για τα πάντα και ήταν διαρκώς σε επικοινωνία μαζί μας! ΟΛΑ υπέροχα αξιζε και με το παραπάνω!!!

Suite does correspond perfectly to the description. Very nice conception of the spaces in al old medieval house. The red kitchenette fitted in smoothly. The location is top but mainly the warm welcome of the smiling and enthusiastic Tasos was the extra reason to give a 10.
