I had an unforgettable stay at Mandaram Eco Resort. It is one of the most peaceful places I have visited in Sri Lanka. Surrounded by cloud forests, waterfalls, and fresh mountain air, it offers a truly unique experience.
What impressed me the most was their commitment to sustainability. The resort is powered by renewable energy, carefully protects the surrounding environment, and follows eco-friendly practices throughout the property. It is wonderful to see a place where nature is preserved instead of being disturbed.
The staff were warm, friendly, and always ready to help. The food was fresh and delicious, and every activity was well organized. Waking up to the sounds of birds and relaxing beside the waterfalls made this a perfect escape from busy city life.
If you are looking for a destination that combines luxury, nature, and responsible tourism, I highly recommend Mandaram Eco Resort. It is a place where you can enjoy comfort while knowing that every effort is being made to protect the environment for future generations.

It was a long dreamed destination to be a part.
The view,location and the set up is 10 out of 10.
Rooms 8 out of 10. are old need renovations.
Excellent Service 10 out of 10. Front line The girl and two senior 2 boys and from kitchen Michel (other Tamil guy forgot his name sorry) and the kitchen staff were amazing luv you guys. Later got to know due to ditwa they have lost their houses yet even under that frustrations they were very care and looked after us..what a remarkable humen beings salute you guys..god bless you. Also the proprietor giving them the shelter to all free of charge he is an absolute example of what humanity looks like..he is very humble person. Answered all the questions out of our curiosity out of 10 ppls with same respect what a gentleman.
Foods were amazing felt like home cooked..
that egg curry on our arrival lunch 10 out of 10.
Also the last dat B/F dosa and sambar who hoooooo.. yum yum.. we all loved… wooooow we love to see you again very sooooooon.. god bless you may you all have success on your journey ahead.

This is a very very special place. Do not assume this is a luxury hotel. A lot is missing for what many people expect. HOWEVER if you like to experience and see Sri Lanka in its absolutely glorious untouched and natural state then this is possibly the only place you should visit. Despite giving it a very average score for facilities and luxuries the staff, the experience and the location make up for it in spades. Come here before Sri Lanka is subjected to the mass tourism that’s in the pipeline. The food is also authentic, plentiful and extremely tasty.
It isn’t worth naming the negatives. Because that’s not what this place is about.

Even though the road to the resort is a bit scary and bumpy sometimes, the scenery during driving and at the resort was absolutely marvelous!
We had a very nice welcome and absolutely loved the view from our cabin.
Unfortunately the place was not clean. Which made us feel a bit uncomfortable.
They also forgot to put pillow cases on our pillows and provide us with water bottles.
For the price we payed this was not satisfying!
