The hotel (townhouse) contributed a lot to our amazing staying in Kyoto. It's fantastic, both the house and the small garden. They are Japanese... The parking is very close to it if you decide to rent a car. The location is quite and nice

Beautiful house in quiet, convenient location.

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house. It’s in a quiet location, but still easy to get to the metro station and there’s plenty of shops and places to eat nearby. The staff at reception were very helpful and kind.

A beautifully designed property with every small detail well thought out and a lovely little garden which added to the ambience in a good location close to a train station. A lovely mix of tradition and modern design.

Whilst it was stated in the conditions when making a booking, checking in at a hotel which is 20 minutes walk away from the property in the heat with your suitcases was not ideal. I would recommend a staff member greeting guests at the house or at the very least, staff at the hotel taking your luggage to the property. I would also recommend the cleaners turning on the air conditioning before guests arrive. The house was very very hot when we arrived after lugging our suitcases from the hotel in the heat at 4pm and took a long time to cool down. It would have been nice to walk in to a cool house.
