Ambience, cleanliness, courteous staff, clean sheets. & Towels
Too expensive for the facilities - especially the food - it's so strange to see the partial treatment towards southern pallette and lavish northern flavours. For this, they could advertise and explicitly say that "the name 'nariyal' is not anything in the southern tongue, so set your expectations properly or stay away". Same goes to the staff at that restaurant, very unwilling to serve customers.

Average. Service was slow - it took 20 mins to get coffee and 10 more mins to get tomato omelette.
The restaurant was not even crowded
The rooms were ok. The lock of one of balconies autolocked on my brother who was left stranded in the balcony with no cell ph, and nobody to reach for help. The rescue was an interesting ordeal! This is a safety hazard esp with solo travelers and young kids and clearly has happened a few times based on the damage spots on the door. The staff did not acknowledge/apologize for this inconvenience during our checkout.....
We requested the reception to help book us a taxi to mangalore. He handed over a # and asked us to coordinate directly. After several failed attempts to reach this contact we had to request the staff to intervene and help get in touch with taxi service. The service overall is luke warm. Nothing to rave about.
