This property was absolutely lovely, it had superb views over the abbey and was exceptionally clean and well thought out. Very well positioned and surrounded by exceptional places to eat. We particularly enjoyed the Bull Inn and the deli /coffee shop which was a few doors away.
Only downside was the noise from the traffic as the High Street is a very busy road.

Excellent location within the town of Battle. Good access to places of interest and very good shops and restaurants

Self catering. Adequate fridge. Cooker hob easy to use. Plenty of cutlery and crockery. Comfortable bed. Excellent position to stay in Battle. Television works easily ( not always the case. )
No handrail on stairs - one would be much appreciated, especially at night. It would also be good to have a separate bin for recycling materials. Lastly, being asked to strip the bed and place linen and towels in a bag is an affront to a guest who has paid an extra fee added to the bill for cleaning after a stay.
