The room was spacious and comfortable. The balcony was quite small, and the view was of a wall. I especially liked the beautiful bathroom tiles. The hotel has a charming historic feel, although its age may make it seem a little dark in some areas.
It would have been nice to have a safety deposit box and a fan in the room.

The staff were really amazing, they had fun with us and even though we shamefully don’t speak a work of Spanish, they really worked with us with the google translate. There were a couple of members of staff who spoke English and they were great fun. The shower was also fantastic - it nearly knocked me over first time I got in! The location was absolutely superb- we just walked to everything, easy to find and the parking was great!
The bed was pretty uncomfortable, I felt really cold which as a Scottish girl is crazy!!! I actually slept fully clothed and all the blankets and I still felt cold. It was also crazy noisy all through the night. I had read this on reviews but I just thought it could be that bad. It was. Not just the noise from the street, but also people in the corridor. The cleaners - woah! Shouting early in the morning and their walkie talkies turned up, it was like they were in the room with us.
