The cottage was really nice. It was warm and even though the cottage is beside a farm, it wasn't noisy and was quiet. It also had alot of space. The cottage is in a great location and there are alot of walks nearby such as Buckden to Kettlewell walk and Buckden Pike, although there is a short drive to these locations to park up. The cottage is perfect for two people who are looking to stay for three/four nights. The facilities were easy to use.
The only thing is that the heaters are on timers so we couldn't adjust them but we made use of the log burning stove in the living room so it wasn't an issue when it got colder at night time. It was really comfortable in the cottage.

Self-catering, alles was aanwezig. Right in the middle van de Dales, veel wandel- en uitstapmogelijkheden.
Men moet zich realiseren dat je op een boerderij verblijft. Dus vieze lucht, vliegen, activiteiten rondom de schapen, af en toe lawaai, geen mooi aangelegde en schone omgeving. Wat we het minst fijn vonden was dat we vanuit de keuken zicht hadden op 2 schaapshonden in een kooi die de hele dag hunkerden om aandacht en activiteit. Toen wij er waren zaten ze bijna de hele dag in die kooi. Ook is er geen vrij uitzIcht, de plastic kliko's werden voor ons raam gezet en de auto moest ook vlak voor het raam geparkeerd worden. De foto's op de website geven een vertekend beeld.

The cottage was lovely and very spacious, and had everything you needed, to cook, clean, provided towels. The bed was fantastically comfortable, so much so that I took picture of the label on the bed and went out and bought a new bed like it.
Although there was a WiFi pass code, we couldn't make calls from the property. We had to travel a few miles out if we wanted to make a call.
Sadly, the bedroom was very cold. Although there were heaters on the wall, they did not throw out much heat, was the first time I ever had to sleep in a jumper.
There wasn't much about within walking distance.
