Fabulous house, with everything you need for a comfortable stay away from home. Set in a gorgeous, quiet location with plenty of local walks on the doorstep; Cheddar Gorge is also less than 5 miles away if you're after something that's more of a challenge.
Finding fresh milk and cake in the kitchen was a lovely gesture and much appreciated after a lengthy drive to get there. The host is wonderful and incredibly helpful meeting us upon arrival and giving us the rundown of the local area before showing us over to the house. Comfy beds and living areas; a well stocked kitchen with ample crockery, utensils and cookware; 2 outdoor seating options in a lovely private garden - we will definitely return!
Nothing to dislike, everything was just as we'd hoped for.

Hosts couldn't have done more to provide everything we needed. Everything was convenient, functional and useful. We enjoyed the interesting conversion - the mezzanine kitchen with lovely bright skylights. The bathrooms were spotless and thoroughly modern. All the bedding and soft furnishings were like new.
You can't see the beautiful views from inside the house. The seating outside was an enclosed private space, so still no view. There is an area on the premises provided for dogs to run where you could sit with a view, but only on a wooden bench. In sum, comfortable outdoor seating with a view would be good.

Great location for visiting local attractions such as cheddar gorge, Bath city etc.
Nothing much to not like; could do with a hoover for cleaning but that was fine.

Very clean and well thought out design. Chairs were comfortable. Good location with pleasant views and quiet. Good central location for exploring the mendips and surrounding areas. Loved the shower room, plenty of room for the less mobile.
Only problem was the height of the beds. Comfortable but, if you are short, difficult to get in and out.
