Séjour agréable, belle chambre sans bruit mais revoir le petit déjeuner

Peu de choix pour le petit déjeuner, pas de grille pain , boissons ( jus d’orange ) pas au frais , eau pas assez chaude pour le thé

Gute Übernachtungsmöglichkeit für eine Familie auf der Fahrt in den Süden

Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, sehr gutes Frühstück. Auch unser Bulli mit Höhe 2,05 passte gut in die Garage.

Im Zimmer zur Straße war ab 6 Uhr die Straßenbahn mäßig zu hören und gegen halb acht die Schulkinder. Wenn man einen leichten Schlaf hat kann das stören, die Fenster sind aber gut isoliert.

Un hôtel exemplaire (bis)

2 fois étape de notre voyage alsacien, à l'aller.puis au retour, nous avons dormi 2 fois à l'hôtel Fontaine-Argent. Je l'ai déjà commenté. Très favorablement.

Un hôtel exemplaire !

Le petit déjeuner. L'amabilité et la générosité de la dame qui s'occupe du petit déjeuner. Le confort, la salle de bain, la propreté, la literie, le design, le parking super et pas cher.

Clim tonique. Faut aimer...

Wir kommen gerne wieder

Wir hatten ein anscheinend frisch renoviertes Zimmer mit superbequemen Betten. Modern und trotzdem gemütlich und ein hervorragendes Frühstück. Das Auto kann sicher in der angrenzenden Parkgarage abgestellt werden, die sehr geräumig ist.

Not a bad place but spoiled by the very abrupt attitude of the receptionist

Great location with parking and a tram stop right outside.

The owner didn't want us to have breakfast in our room even though we had a suite with an outside terrace and refused to give us plates and cutlery which was a shame as it spoiled my opinion of the place.

One night not long enough in this interesting city....

We made a very late decision to visit Besancon and I didn't have much time to research properties. But the hotel was absolutely fine and comfortable. We only stayed for one night, so only got a fleeting impression of both the hotel and the city. But it is a place I would visit again.

Unfortunately the car park adjacent to the hotel was full when we arrived, which couldn't be helped as we hadn't reserved a space. However the young lady at reception was tremendously helpful. She looked after our bags and gave us good directions to an alternative car park. All the staff that we encountered at the hotel were friendly.

Ideal hotel close to a very interesting city.

-very comfortable modern hotel room with small balcony overlooking the street -secure parking available at eight Euros per day -short walk into old city

-access to the property is very difficult as at each end of the block there is a no entry sign and you must share the road with trams, -one also needs an up to date GPS to navigate the one way streets in the area of the hotel -the price seems too high

The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. They spoke French slowly and clearly, which helped us. The location is a 15-20 minute walk from the city centre, but there is a tram stop right outside the hotel and the trams are frequent. We liked the balcony.

The bed mattress was a little too soft.

good location and newly renovated

Since the building looks newly renovated it was quite confusing to get a direct exit from the garage to the reception on the first day. but I guess they will have them fixed .

Very good

Quite big room to the back with a “garden outside place”. Nice bed and pillows. A 10 minutes walk down to the absolut centre of town. A simple and good place to park the bicycles.

There was no possibility to get a beer or a drink.

Great place to stay when in Besançon

Nicely furnished room in central location to explore the city. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. I can absolutely recommend this place.

Just right. Lovely town.

Very comfortable bed.

The door for the shower was badly designed. I could just manage to get in and out, but for a larger person it would be very uncomfortable/impossible.
